Nepali cricketer Anjali Chand has set a world record in her debut match. At the 13th South Asian Games in Pokhara, Nepal’s 24-year-old Anjali has taken six wickets against the Maldives team without giving a single run off 13 balls. Anjali also holds the record for the best bowler in international T20 cricket. Anjali sent the players to the pavilion at 0 without giving a single run in her 2.1 over spell.

Anjali also scored a hat-trick from the last three balls during her bowling. Anjali has broken the record of the best bowler Mas Alisha from Malaysia, who had taken three wickets for six runs. In men’s cricket, India’s fast bowler Deepak Chahar recently broke the highest bowling record to his name. He took six wickets including a hat-trick giving only seven runs in a T20 match against Bangladesh.

In the match played in Pokhara, the Maldives team was dismissed for 16 runs in 10.1 overs. In response, Nepal won the match by 17 runs in five balls without losing any wickets.
