A Mumbai man who had identified Ajmal Kasab, after the 26/11 attack was reunited with his family after being found helpless and on the road on a Mumbai pavement. The man identified as Harishchandra Shrivardhankar, was found outside the payment of a shop in Saat Rasta area in Mumbai. Shrivardhankar is also a survivor of the 26/11 attacks. He had suffered two bullet injuries.
The shop owner Dean D’Souza and a friend took help of the Agripada police Station cops and managed to trace his family in Kalyan, Thane, media reports said. The cops and the shopkeeper made the effort despite lockdown being in force.
The former government employee had been injured during the 26/11 attack near the Cama and Albless Hospital. He had been missing for about two months. The Mumbai cops went out of their way to help him reunite with his family. He has been put in quarantine as a precautionary measure. Cops managed to trace his family with the few words he managed to mumble about their whereabouts. After being found on the streets, he was cared for by an NGO that gave him food and bath before finding his whereabouts.
