A day after a video of a welcome party for BJP corporator from Surat Amit Rajput violating all COVID-19 norms went viral, another video has gone viral.

This time it is a farewell party of a police inspector who retired and some people celebrated his contribution by throwing COVID-19 norms aside.

In fact, in the video, the Limbayat police station police inspector Vinod Makwana is seen participating in the celebration without a mask and social distancing.

Interestingly, the municipal corporation and police fine anyone without a mask in public places Rs1000 for violating the norms.

Who is Vinod Makwana

Vinod Makwana was earlier also hailed as a corona warrior after he tried to strictly enforce COVID-19 norms. In the video, Vinod Makwana is seen being in a temple where Makwana is without a mask while those around him have worn it. Moreover, no one seems to maintain a social distance.

Vinod Makwana retired on Wednesday and many people had come together to celebrate and thank him for his contribution.

Many bid him goodbye with slogans like ‘lion of Hindus’.

Earlier in another video BJP corporator Amit Rajput was seen being welcomed by his supporters after he was discharged from a hospital.

Rajput was under treatment for COVID-19. Though Rajput had worn a mask, many who were welcoming him did not wear it.

In that case, too, neither Rajput nor others were fined for violation of COVID-19 norms.
