Meanwhile, Vinesh Phogat, who is protesting at Jantar-Mantar, raised a serious charge on the Sports Ministry and said that the committee is only for a show, everything is being done at the behest of Brijbhushan. Phogat said, “we have been politicized by the sports ministry, we did what the ministry told us to do. I will not mention any name but whom we trusted have played a game with us.”
Wrestler Bajrang Punia, talking to the media over the protest against WFI chief Brijbhushan Singh, said that more than 48 hours have passed since the filing of the complaint but the FIR has not been filed. This time we welcome everyone, any party(BJP, Congress, AAP) come, everyone is welcome.
Wrestler Vinesh Phogat said that many of our friends are sitting outside (of Jantar-Mantar), they are not allowed to come inside. These people have stopped all our food and water.
A total of seven complaints have been received against the WFI chief. “As part of inquiry, we have sought a report from the probe committee set up by Sports Ministry to look into the allegations of sexual harassment allegations levelled against WFI chief,” the top official said.
