At a time when the coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc on countries across the globe, several philanthropic organisations and social service groups have come forward to serve the people. The deadly virus has also spread its tentacles in Gujarat and left people, especially the daily wagers, with no income and means to sustain.
In such a crisis hour, the Vadtal Swaminarayan Sect is leaving no stone unturned to help the poor. It is distributing around 30 tonnes of fresh vegetables among the needy on a daily basis. Notably, it is doing so for the past two weeks in which vegetable kits are prepared and distributed among the needy people in the areas of Tarapur, Valasan, Ajarpura, Naaman, and Petlad among others.
The Vadtal temple administration carries out the distribution with the help of the local representatives of people and the Anand district administration.
