US President Donald Trump was given a 21-gun salute and guard of honor at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday morning, the second day of his visit to India. Along with Donald Trump, his daughter Ivanka and First Lady Melania were also present on the occasion. PM Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind welcomed Trump at Rashtrapati Bhavan. After the Guard of Honor at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Trump and his wife paid homeage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.
US President Donald Trump also wrote a message on the visitor book of Rajghat. Donald Trump wrote, “The American people stand strongly with a sovereign and wonderful India – The vision of the great Mahatma Gandhi. This is a tremendous honor!”

On Monday, US President Donald Trump was in Ahmedabad and here he visited the Sabarmati Ashram. At the Sabarmati Ashram, Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. Apart from this, they stayed Gandhi Ashram for 15 to 20 minutes. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump spin the Gandhiji’s iconic Charkha at the Sabarmati Ashram along with PM Modi.
