Uproar in UP Assembly, Opposition MLAs Carry Gas Cylinder On Their Back


The budget session of the UP Legislative Assembly has started from today. As soon as the session started, opposition legislators created a ruckus on the issue of CAA-NRC and NPR. The SP-BSP MLAs protested with the posters and the banners. Opposition MLAs shouted slogans in Vail. At the same time, Congress MLAs demonstrated at the assembly gate. They held placards in their hands on which the government was described as anti-farmer and female. They also demand the Government for the withdrawal of the Act. Congress legislators say that the government has brought citizenship Act to divert attention from the real issues.

Opposition legislators also created a ruckus in the Governor’s address. As soon as Governor Anandiben Patel got up to read her address, Samajwadi Party MLAs went to the middle of the house to protest and some sat there. Some of these MLAs had taken up placards against CAA, NRC. Some MLAs arrived with gas cylinders on their back. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was in the House.

On Wednesday, a day before the budget session, the Speaker of Assembly appealed to all the leaders in all-party meeting to cooperate for running the House smoothly. At the same time, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the government is ready for meaningful discussion and solution on every issue related to the security of the state from youth to women and businessmen. He said that the budget of the country’s largest state will be presented in this session. Along with all party leaders on the budget, members will also get a good opportunity to put forth their views and give suggestions.
