Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Friday said Congress MPs came to his seat in the Lok Sabha, tried to attack him and snatch papers when he condemned Rahul Gandhi for his indecent language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Congress MP standing in the box on the statement of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on ‘Dande Marenge..’, attacked senior BJP leader and Union Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan in Lok Sabha on Friday.
Dr Harsh Vardhan was condemning Rahul Gandhi’s statement of ‘Dande Marenge…’ remark used against Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a rally in Lok Sabha. During this time, Congress MPs came to Vail and started opposing Harsh. Meanwhile, Congress MP Manicka Tagore turned to Harsh and began to use force with him. Seeing all these the other the MPs also separated them. Seeing the commotion, Lok Sabha adjourned till 1 pm and the speaker had called a meeting. It may be noted that former Congress President Rahul Gandhi had targeted PM Narendra Modi at a rally in Delhi’s Haurani on Wednesday and said, “Dande Marenge”
On Thursday, while answering Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Dande Marenge…” remark in Lok Sabha, PM Narendra Modi had said, “I heard a Congress leader say yesterday that the youth of India will hit Modi with sticks in 6 months. I have decided that I will increase my frequency of ‘Surya Namaskar’ so that my back becomes so strong that it can bear the blows of so many sticks.” PM Modi in a veiled jibe at Rahul Gandhi said, “I was speaking for the last 30-40 minutes but it took this long for the current to reach there. Many tubelights are like this.”
