Lucknow: A case has been registered against an unknown person in Lucknow after receiving death threat against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath. Lucknow Police gave this information. The threat has been received through ‘112 emergency’ message.

The person who gave the death threat said, ‘I will kill CM Yogi very soon’. After receiving the threat, the operation commander of ‘112’ has registered a case in Sushant Golf City police station. A case has been registered under IPC Sections 506, 507 and IT Act 66. Security agencies have been alerted after the threat and they have started investigating the matter.

Last year, the CM of Uttar Pradesh got death threat by a bomb blast. According to the FIR registered at Gomti Nagar Police Station, a message was received through mobile number 8828453350 on WhatsApp number 7570000100 of the social media desk at 112 headquarters. It was written in that message, ‘I am going to kill CM Yogi with a bomb. He is an enemy of a special community’s life.’ Following the threat, the higher authorities were informed about the message.
