Gandhinagar: Another round of unseasonal rain is expected from tomorrow in Gujarat due to Western Disturbance effect. It has been predicted that there may be thunderstorm. Following the warning issued by Meteorological Department (MD), the concerns of the farmers have been raised again. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain on 4, 5 and 6 April, especially in Banas kantha, Sabar kantha, Saurashtra-Kutch, North and South Gujarat.

Gujarat has received unseasonal rain intermittently throughout the month of March this year. Meanwhile, once again there is a forecast for rain with thunderstorm from 4 to 6 April. Though will be no rain in Gujarat today there may be continuous unseasonal rain in the state the forecast added. Besides thunderstorms in April and May due to continuous western disturbances, the rainy season will be felt in the state.
Forecast for rain in April
According to the forecast unseasonal rain is expected on 4 and 5 April. Kutch will have average rain on 4th April, while Banas kantha and Sabar kantha will have rain on 5th April. Farmers concerns have been increased following the forecast. According to MD there is possibility of gusty winds on 5-6th. While weather may change in some parts of North, Central Gujarat, some parts of South Gujarat, Saurashtra-Kutch during April 6 to 10. Besides, pre-monsoon rain with cyclone in different parts of Gujarat-Saurashtra region till 15th has been predicted. According to forecast there is a possibility of rain in different parts of Gujarat-Saurashtra region from 23rd to 30th April.
