Mumbai: The political crisis in Maharashtra is nearing an end. Following the resignation of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also resigned. After the resignation of Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, Congress leader KC Venugopal said, “This is the victory of constitution and democracy. They thought that government could be formed through Horse trading. This is not just a failure of Devendra Fadnavis, but a blow to his gurus sitting in Delhi.
KC Venugopal said that after the meeting of the three parties a joint press conference will be addressed today. In this meeting the leader of the joint legislative party will be selected in which Uddhav Thackeray will be chosen as the leader.
According to reliable sources, ShivSena-NCP-Congress leaders will meet the Governor at PM today and put forward the claim to form the government. In which Uddhav Thackeray will take oath as the Chief Minister and Baba Saheb Thorat of Congress and Jayant Patil from NCP as Deputy Chief Minister tomorrow.
