One year of operation of Vande Bharat Express train is been completed. While passengers took advantage of modern facilities in this Vande Bharat Express, the Railways have earned Rs 92 crore 30 lakh during the year. It is known that the Vande Bharat Express is the first semi-high speed train running between New Delhi to Varanasi.

General Manager (GM) of North Central Railway (NCR) and Northern Railway (NR) congratulated the railway officials and staff for the successful operation of the train. Also on the occasion of the first anniversary, the program was organized on platform number-6 at Allahabad Junction. During this time, passengers traveling in this train were also welcomed. DRM Amitabh once again made everyone aware of the merits of the train and informed about the earnings of the train at the program on platform number-6 at Allahabad Junction. During this time, Divisional officials welcomed the passengers by giving them chocolate and roses.

PM Modi showed green signal

It is known that Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat Express in New Delhi on 15 February 2019. Other trains take about 12 hours to reach Varanasi from New Delhi, but the Vande Bharat Express takes just eight hours to cover this distance. Vande Bharat is the only such train with an average speed of 104 km/h. According to the data, 6 lakh 72 thousand passengers traveled in the Vande Bharat Express in one year and during this time the railway earned 92 crore 30 lakh.
