Hyderabad: Telangana Congress President A Revanth Reddy was placed under house arrest on Monday morning.
While police said that they had taken the step as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order as Reddy was planning to visit the Kokapeta land area, Congress has said he was to leave for Delhi to attend the monsoon session of the Parliament which begins on Monday. However, they claimed, he could not go as police had been deployed outside his house since 3 am.
