Srinagar: Terrorists gunned down two teachers at a school in Srinagar on Thursday. The attack comes less than two days after three civilians were shot dead in separate incidents in Srinagar.

One of the teachers, a woman, was a Sikh, identified as Satinder Kour. The male teacher was a Kashmiri Pandit, Deepak Chand. Both of them were shot at point blank range. They were taken to the hospital where the doctors declared them dead on arrival.
“Shocking news coming in again from Srinagar. Another set of targeted killings, this time of two teachers in a Govt school in Idgah area of the city. Words of condemnation are not enough for this inhuman act of terror but I pray for the souls of the deceased to rest in peace,” tweeted National Conference leader Omar Abdullah on Thursday.
