The fight between US President Donald Trump and Speaker of Parliament Nancy Pelosi is not taking place. Trump addressed the State of the Union on Wednesday. In his speech, Donald Trump laid out the electoral campaign. Also mentioned his strategy against Islamic terrorism. But as soon as Trump’s address ended, something happened that is probably getting more headlines than the address. Speaker of the US Parliament Nancy Pelosi tore up the copy of Trump’s speech at the end of the speech.
There has been a rift between Nancy and Trump for a long time. It was only after Nancy’s efforts that the motion for impeachment against President Donald Trump was passed in the US Parliament. On Wednesday, Donald Trump began his address in the House of Representatives and described how he accelerated the growth of America during his tenure. Trump’s speech came just after he had to give a statement in the US Senate a day later on the process of impeachment. As soon as the President’s speech ended in Parliament, everyone was standing and applauding. But then Nancy Pelosi stood in her seat and immediately tore up the copy of Trump’s speech. After which there was also hooting in the house.
After the meeting ended, a spokeswoman for former New York mayor and current presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg, in an obviously orchestrated statement, said Trump “lies about everything: his fake hair, his obesity, and his spray-on tan.”
