Team India player Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of the remainder of the ODI series against England. Iyer, who failed to make his mark in the first ODI against England at Pune, hurt his left shoulder while fielding in the eighth over. Down with excruciating pain, the cricketer left the ground and was immediately taken for scans.

BCCI in a medical update had said, “Shreyas Iyer subluxated his left shoulder in the 8th over while fielding. He has been taken for further scans and won’t take any further part in the game. Rohit Sharma was hit on the right elbow while batting and felt some pain later. He won’t take the field.”
