Scorching summer begins in Gujarat, temperature in these 3 cities crosses 40 degrees

Ahmedabad: After continuous unseasonal rain in Gujarat, the people of Gujarat are facing heat wave condition. The temperature is on rise in most of the cities of state and people are feeling the scorching heat. The heat has suddenly hiked in cities including Ahmedabad. In 10 cities, mercury of the temperature has reached above 38 degrees. Temperature has crossed 40 degrees in Ahmedabad and Bhuj. Temperature is likely to rise above 40 degrees and then cross 45 degrees by April 20.

Since beginning of summer in the state, temperature of 3 cities have crossed 40 degrees. Ahmedabad recorded maximum temperature of 40.2 degrees, while temperature in Surendranagar and Baroda also crossed 40 degrees. 10 cities recorded temperature above 38 degree Celsius. According to the forecast in next 2 days temperature is likely to rise further.

Forecast for unseasonal rain

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, unseasonal rain is likely to occur in many areas of Gujarat between April 11 and 14. While the weather will be dry in Gujarat on April 10. The Meteorological Department has also predicted a rise in the temperature of state by 2 to 3 degrees in the near future. Its effect can be experienced now. The temperature is on rise for last two days the cities including Ahmedabad. According to the weather department, the maximum temperature will cross 40 degrees in most of the cities of the state in next few days.
