Scorching heat in Gujarat after two days, know what the Meteorological Department predicted?

Ahmedabad: According to the Meteorological Department (MD), there may be scorching heat in the Gujarat in few days. The possibility of temperature to touch 42 degrees Ahmedabad also has been expressed. The Weather Center of Ahmedabad has predicted dry weather for the next 4 days.

Dr. Manorama Mohanty, director of Ahmedabad Meteorological Centre, in forecast for weather of state, said that the weather is likely to remain dry in entire Gujarat for the next 5 days (till Monday). There are no chances of rain. She has also expressed the possibility of mercury falling in the state in the initial days. But after the period mercury will shoot up again.

Manorama Mohanty said that there may be a drop of 2-3 degrees in the temperature of the state. There is also a possibility of the temperature falling from the current level to normal and staying below the normal. However, after 2 days, again there is a possibility of rise in maximum temperature in the state. The temperature may increase by 2-3 degrees. Ahmedabad is likely to face severe heat after 2 days. If the temperature rise during April, 23 – 24, a warning can be issued under the heat action plan. However, no alert or warning has been issued so far.
