The booklet distributed by MP Congress Seva Dal had made several revelations. Regarding this matter, Savarkar’s great-grandson Ranjit Savarkar has demanded a ban on the booklet immediately and has also said to file a case. Apart from this, he has appealed to Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray to ban this book in the state.

Ranjit Savarkar has appealed that a case should be registered under sections 120, 500, 503, 504, 505 and 506 in this case. He said that Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray should also interfere in this matter and action should be taken.

Vinayak Savarkar’s great-grandson said that the Congress is distributing such books in Madhya Pradesh, such efforts are constantly being made on their behalf. In such a situation, Shiv Sena should register an objection in front of the Congress.

Apart from Ranjit Savarkar, BJP MLA Ashish Shelar tweeted and demanded CM Uddhav Thackeray to take action against this booklet. Ashish Shelar has tweeted that if Savarkar comes to Maharashtra, then you should ban this book that defame Savarkar in Maharashtra. We condemn the remarks made by the Congress on the symbol of patriotism. We all Savarkar!

It mentions the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, Nathuram Godse and VD Savarkar. The book claimed that Nathuram Godse and Veer Savarkar had homosexual relationship, not only that it was also alleged that Savarkar used to incite people to rape minority women.
