A dispute between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot has started again. Congress leader Sachin slammed own government saying that during the election we had raised the issue of corruption and improper policies of government of Vasundhara Raje, consequently she was ousted from the power. Pilot added, ” We claimed for an investigation in the matter, but when I wrote a letter to CM Ashok Gehlot regarding this, I have not received any response yet.”
Senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot, in a fresh salvo against his own party government, on Sunday announced a day-long fast on April 11 demanding action from chief minister Ashok Gehlot against alleged corruption during the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) tenure in Rajasthan.
Showing support for Pilot, state cabinet minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas called him an “asset to the party” and said his opinions and questions should be respected. Khachariyawas added,” He has the right to raise issues and ours is a democratic party. What’s wrong in getting corruption issue probed during BJP tenure?”
