India has recorded over 3,000 cases of Covid19 in the last 24 hours. The total number of cases now stands at 59,662 cases. 95 people have died during the said period taking the total death toll due to the disease to 1,981
Earlier union health minister Harsh Vardhan had said that the testing capacity for Covid19 has been increased to 95,000 tests per day and a total of over 15 lakh tests have been conducted so far across the country.
Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu plans to have major relaxation in coronavirus lockdown guidelines from Monday onwards and this has given rise to fear that it will lead to further increase in cases in the state.
