Rani-ki-Vav at Patan Decorated with Colorful Lights for 2-day Concert, Free of Charge

Patan: Rani-ki-Vav (the Queen’s Stepwell) is an exceptional example of a distinctive form of subterranean water architecture of the Indian subcontinent, the stepwell, which is located on the banks of the Saraswati River in Patan. It is decorated with the colorful lights, the concert at Vav will start from today. The festival will include CM Vijay Rupani,legendary singer Hariharan, Padma Shri folk writer Bhikhudan Gadhvi, folk singer Bihari Hemu Gadhvi,folk singer Jignesh Kaviraj.

The concert will cost around 80 lakhs. Seating has been arranged for more than 7000 people. The ceremony will begin at 6:30 pm. The Queen’s yard and the entire complex have been decorated with the lights. This two-day event is held free of charge. For the safety and security of the concert, 108 ambulances and up to four medical teams will be on site. Along with this a public invitation for this two-day concert has also been given.
