People living in UP and its surrounding areas, including the capital Delhi, can get relief from the scorching heat. According to the India Meteorological Department(IMD), the weather patterns of Delhi and its surroundings will change on Tuesday. Along with the decrease in temperature, the possibility of light rain has also been expressed. The IMD says that people can get relief from the unbearable heat for the next few days.

Director General of Meteorology Dr. Mrutyunjay Mohapatra said, rainfall is expected at most places over Northwest India tomorrow and the day after. He said that there will be no heat wave condition till 28th May and the temperature is likely to arise again afterwards.
IMD has predicted that the temperature in North-West India is likely to reduce by four to six degree Celsius during next few days. IMD said that a fresh and active Western Disturbance is likely to move over Northwest India till 26th of this month. It will be accompanied by moisture supply from the Arabian Sea.
Meanwhile, there is also a possibility of strong wind blowing at a speed of 40-50 kmph. Today it may be partly cloudy in Lucknow. According to the Meteorological Department, it may start raining in Lucknow from May 24. Along with the rain, the temperature will also start decreasing. The weather pattern has changed in many parts of Uttarakhand. Kedarnath, Tungnath, Madhyamaheshwar, Kartik Swami and other high altitude areas have received heavy rains.
The people of Delhi-NCR are suffering from the scorching heat. The temperature has touched 46 degrees in Delhi’s Najafgarh. The minimum temperature in New Delhi today is expected to be 27 degrees and the maximum temperature is expected to be 43 degrees.
