The program is being held in many parts of the country on the 95th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and veteran leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several union ministers on Wednesday paid tributes to Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Members of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s family were also present during this period amid the playing of hymns and devotional music.

BJP veteran and former Prime Minister of the country, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was born on 25 December 1924 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Vajpayee died on 16 August 2018 at AIIMS Hospital in New Delhi.
