Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat is also taking part in the meeting with CM Yogi Adityanath. Union Water Power Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi are also present.

Earlier, PM was welcomed by Yogi and BJP leaders at the airport. Namami Gange will review the project and will also be sailing in the Ganges to see the impact of the scheme on the Ganges.He will review progress of work done and deliberate on aspects of cleaning the Ganga.
In this meeting, apart from Union Water Power Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, many other ministers, chief secretaries, principal secretaries of all five states along the Ganges are also present. PM Modi is reviewing all the works that have been done so far to make Ganga clean and uninterrupted. After this, what can be done to clean the Ganges and make its edges beautiful, an action plan will also be made. In the afternoon, PM Modi will also visit the Ganges from the cruise.
After the resolution of Ram temple issue, the issue of cleaning the Ganga is now a priority on the agenda of the central government. In this situation, this visit of PM Modi is considered to be very important.
