Addressing the gathering, PM Modi expressed gratitude for getting the opportunity to extend the pace of development of the state of Telangana. He also recalled flagging off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express which will connect the IT City of Hyderabad with the abode of Lord Venkateshwara, Tirupati at Secunderabad Railway Station earlier in the day.
About 70 km metro network has been built in Hyderabad. 13 MMTS services has started here today, Rs. 600 crore have been earmarked for rapid expansion of MMTS in Telangana.
PM Modi added that along with railway, the highway project is being developed rapidly here by the Union government. The central government is in the process of building a modern national highway in Telangana. But a few people are frustrated with the development work, the people who have been nurturing nepotism, They have trouble with the people who work for better. They are not concerned with the welfare of the country and society. They just love to see their garden flourish. Telangana needs to be wary of such people.
PM Modi targeted the opposition and said that they first think that there should be cheering of their family, they wish that the flow of money from corruption should continue and the third is that the money, sent for distribution among the poor people, should be used for distribution in their corrupt eco system. They are confused, they are doing anything in a frenzy. A few days ago, many political parties approached the court saying, “Give us security, that nobody open our books of corruption.” But, the court gave them a shock there as well. Lack of cooperation from the state government in most of the central projects, every project gets delayed. This causes loss to the people of Telangana.
