Diesel, too, gets expensive by 37 paise
Ahmedabad: The price of petrol has crossed the mark of Rs 100 per litre, and yet there is no stopping it. And now, diesel is almost there.
On Saturday, it increased by 29 paise in Ahmedabad, settling at Rs 100.62.
Diesel will cost Rs 99.66 per litre after the increase.
In Mumbai, where the prices are the highest, petrol has inched closer to the mark of Rs 110 per litre. After the 29 paise rise, it now costs Rs 109.83. Diesel crossed the 100 mark and is priced at Rs 100.29.
In Delhi, petrol is now priced at Rs 103.84 and diesel Rs 90.47.
In Chennai, the fuels are priced at Rs 101.27 and Rs 96.93 respectively, while in Kolkata, is is Rs 104.52 and Rs 95.58 per litre respectively.
The prices are revised daily on the basis of the price of crude oil in the international market.
