Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali group products will now be sold at airports across the country.Patanjali Ayurved is set to expand its network of stores selling its packaged goods across India’s airports through its existing partnership with JHS Svendgaard Retail Ventures.
To be sure, JHS Svendgaard already operates four Patanjali stores at airports in New Delhi, Chandigarh and Raipur airports. A new store is set to open at New Delhi’s International Gandhi International Airport, Terminal 3, on Wednesday.The store will be opened on Wednesday under a joint venture with Pantjali Group. Under this alliance, shops will also be opened at Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai airports.
According to news agency PTI, Nikhil Nanda managing director of JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Limited said, “Through this partnership, we are developing an extensive network of Patanjali stores across all Indian airports. It is our effort to promote Indian Ayurveda globally by targeting Indian gateways and making brand Patanjali accessible to all commuters, national or foreign,” He said that the new shop at Indira Gandhi Airport in New Delhi will be inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri.
In the year 2018, on the occasion of Dhanteras, Baba Ramdev inaugurated the first clothing store named Patanjali Paridhan in Delhi. Ramdev started the garments business while inaugurating the first ‘Patanjali Apparel’ showroom at Netaji Subhash Place in Delhi. The Uttar Pradesh cabinet recently approved a proposal to subsidize the proposed food park by the Patanjali group in Greater Noida. It was approved to provide land subsidy to promote Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali group.
