A well-known Mathematics teacher from Ahmedabad’s Paldi, Parth Tank, has ended his life by jumping from Rajyash building in Vasana.
A police team from Vasana police station has reached the spot and started its investigation. Notably, the Parth Tank was in depression for quite some time and was undergoing treatment under a psychiatrist for some time.
Tank was a resident of Vrindavan Society near Paldi and is survived by his wife and two children. A popular teacher of Mathematics, students used to struggle to get admission in his tuition classes located at Mangaltirth Complex.
He was a regular member of the health club at Vasana’s Rajyash Complex and used to go for regular exercise. This morning also, as per the routine, the driver dropped him at the health club.
Police investigating the matter
Meanwhile, there was a sudden thud sound in the Rajyash complex when Parth Tank fell to the ground. Following this, people present at the spot, including his driver, rushed to the spot.
The driver reported the incident to the family. Vasana police reached the spot and conducted an investigation and recorded it as an accidental death. The police are scrutinising the CCTV footage of the building.
The dead body was sent to VS Hospital for post mortem and will be handed over to the family after the legal formalities.
Parth Tank had depression
Parth Tank’s father Jayanti Tank revealed that his son was suffering from depression. He said he had no other problems. The exact reason for the death is yet to be ascertained.
