New Delhi: The monsoon session of the Parliament entered its last week on Monday. However, the spate of adjournments of both Houses continues. On Monday, too, the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha witnessed multiple adjournments amid continued protests by the Opposition leaders. The monsoon session ends on August 13.

The Lok Sabha passed the Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Bill 2021, which had already been passed in the Rajya Sabha. The Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Amendment) Bill, 2021, too, was passed on Monday. In a meeting chaired by Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjuna Kharge, 15 Opposition Parties had decided to support the government in passing the ‘The Constitution (127th Amendment) Bill, 2021’ in both the Houses.

The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm amid protests against Bills being passed without discussion.
