New Delhi: The Parliament continued to see disruptions on Monday. After initial adjournment, the Lok Sabha was once again adjourned till 2.45 pm following protests over the Pegasus snooping row and the farm laws.
Earlier in the day, both Houses of the Parliament had been adjourned initially till 12 noon and then for the second time till 2 pm after protests by the Opposition MPs over Pegasus, farm laws and other issues. This was the fifth day in a row when the Parliament had to be adjourned.
Protesting members of Congress, DMK, Akali Dal and other parties rushed to the well of the House. Despite repeated requests by Speaker Om Birla, when the ruckus continued, he adjourned the Lok Sabha till 2 pm.
However, the disruptions continued even after the House reconvened, following which the Lok Sabha was once again adjourned, this time till 2.45 pm.
The Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 3 pm.
