At the same time some places witnessed such scenes that compel us to say that this is possible in India only. In the era of social media, anything goes viral within a few minutes. It can be seen that a Muslim youth is giving fruits, without charging any money, to the people who are on fast in Navratri and also to those who observe fasting during Ramadan, by placing a poster on the his cart. Meanwhile, one such heart-wrenching video has gone viral from the neighboring country of Pakistan. A Muslim girl residing in Karachi, Pakistan has sung a hymn in the glory of Lord Krishna during Ramadan which has become very popular.

Pakistan’s Wajiha Athar Naqvi sang the famous Kalam ‘Kanhaiya’ of Nawab Sadiq Jung Bahadur Hilme. This unique thumri, Kanhaiya Yaad Hai, was composed in the devotional tradition by Nawab Sadiq Jung Bahadur Hilm in the 19th century. Nawab’s picture is also visible in her video. The video shows Wajiha Athar Naqvi reciting hymns from an old book written in Urdu.
