Johar, who comes from an army background has had several of her close relatives serving in the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and is also a sharp shooter. She graduated from the Army Medical College in 1985 and in 2015 earned a Masters degree in public health from the University of Health Sciences, Lahore.
