Party chief Asaduddin Owaisi has now taken action on the provocative statement of AIMIM leader Waris Pathan. After the statement, Owaisi banned Waris from talking to the media after the party’s grudge. Pathan will not be able to give a public statement until the party gives permission.
Waris Pathan made a controversial statement against the Citizenship Amendment Act during a public meeting in Gulbarga, Karnataka. A video of Pathan allegedly saying “15 crore Muslims can be heavy on 100 crore went viral on Thursday, triggering a backlash from the BJP which said such threats do not work in new India.”
