Nityanand Ashram Case: Manjula Shroff and Hiten Vasant Absconding, Apply For Bail

Ahmedabad: Accused in Nityanad ashram case, Manjula Shroff and Hiten Vasant have applied for bail at the court to avoid arrest. After the CBSE board, now the State Board of education has also revoked the recognition of the DPS School, in which the ashram was functioning. The DPS East School had presented forged documents to get the NOC certifications and a case was registered against the authorities.

DPS School administrators apply for bail

The administrators of DPS School Manjula Shroff and Hiten Vasant are currently absconding. The residences of both the administrators were locked. While both the administrators have applied for bail at the Rural Court.

DPS administrators could be arrested

The investigation which was initiated for illegal confinement of children at the ashram has been side tracked to N/A and NoC certifications to divert the case. A case has been registered at the Ahmedabad rural police station and efforts are being made to settle whole case. Along with Nityanand, Manjula Shroff has been named the co-accused in the whole controversy.
