NCB team reaches Shahrukh Khan’s home to ‘complete paperwork’

  • Earlier in the day, Shahrukh Khan had visited his son Aryan at Arthur Road jail

Mumbai: Hours after Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan visited his son Aryan Khan at Arthur Road jail on Thursday morning, a team of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) reached his home ‘Mannat’.

The initial buzz was that the NCB team had gone to Shahrukh Khan’s house for a search operation, but the agency officials clarified they had gone there to “complete some paperwork” and not for any search.

Aryan Khan was arrested on October 2 in a drugs case following a raid on a cruise on way from Mumbai to Goa. While no evidence of consumption or possession of drugs was found on him, the NCB team has claimed it has evidence in the form of WhatsApp chats to show that he appeared to be in touch with people from an international drug racket.

His bail application was rejected by the   NDPS court in Mumbai on Wednesday. He has now approached the Bombay High Court which will hear the matter on Tuesday.

They reportedly carried out search operations at the premises and served summons to Ananya and her father Chunky Pandey for questioning.

The NCB is said to have found chats betweeen Aryan and Ananya on the former’s phone.

During the search, they reportedly took her phone, laptop and other electronic devices.
