Nawazuddin Siddiqui reached his ancestral village in Uttar Pradesh’s Budhana with his family to celebrate Eid. The actor, who travelled from Mumbai to the UP village after taking permission from the respective authorities, has been tested negative for the novel coronavirus, along with his family members. He is currently in quarantine with his family for the next 14 days at his UP home.
Muzaffarnagar district administration conducted a coronavirus test on Nawazuddin Siddiqui after he reached Budhana from Mumbai. The test came out to be negative. His family members are glad that the actor didn’t test positive for the disease.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui reached his home on May 15 after taking a travel pass from the authorities. The actor and his family have been asked to remain in home quarantine till May 25.
The actor was accompanied by his mother, brother and sister-in-law in his private vehicle from Mumbai to Budhana. He informed reporters that the family underwent medical screenings at 25 points during his journey.
On the work front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen next in Pushpendra Nath Misra’s Ghoomketu. The film also stars Anurag Kashyap, Raghubir Yadav, Swanand Kirkire, Ila Arun, and Ragini Khanna in pivotal roles. Actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, and Sonakshi Sinha make special appearances in the film.
