Nawab Malik spills ‘more beans’ on Aryan Khan case, calls it matter of kidnapping and ransom

New Delhi: NCP leader Nawab Malik has called the arrest of Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in a drugs case a matter of kidnapping and ransom. He also alleged that BJP leader Mohit Bharatiya alias Mohit Kamboj was the mastermind of the matter and that he and Mumbai NCB chief Sameer Wankhede were associates.

Nawab Malik said that Aryan Khan was brought to the cruise ship from where he was arrested. A demand of Rs 25 crore was made, after which a deal was struck at Rs 18 crore. However, a selfie of Kiran Gosavi ruined the game, Malik said.

“Aryan Khan didn’t purchase the ticket for the cruise party. It was Pratik Gaba and Amir Furniturewala who brought him there. It’s a matter of kidnapping & ransom. Mohit Kamboj is the mastermind & partner of Sameer Wankhede in demanding ransom,” news agency ANI quoted NCP leader Nawab Malik.

Responding to the allegations, Mohit Kamboj accused Nawab Malik of ties with Sunil Patil who, he claimed, was the mastermind of the case. Raising questions on his wealth, Kamboj demanded to know how the NCP leader accumulated RS 3,000 crore worth of property.

“What scrap were you selling that you got so much property? he asked.”

Wankhede’s father filed defamation suit

NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede’s father Dhyandev Wankhede has filed a defamation suit against Nawab Malik in the Bombay High Court and demanded Rs 1.25 crore in damages.

His lawyer said that Malik had been calling the family fraud and questioning their religious beliefs. Nawab Malik has been accused of doing “irreparable loss, damage, harm, prejudice in the name of character, reputation and societal damage to the plaintiff and his family members”.
