  • Some secrets have to be kept to form or break a government, says Union Minister Narayan Rane in Jaipur

Mumbai: Maharashtra is all set for a change very soon, according to Union minister Narayan Rane. The minister has predicted that the BJP will return to power in the state by March.

However, he refrained from speaking further, saying that some things had to be kept secret to break a government and to form one.

In an interaction with mediapersons, the Union MSME minister who was in Jaipur, also said that Uddhav Thackeray (Maharashtra CM) was unwell and hence the party president had told them not to talk to him now.

Thackeray recently underwent a surgery and is currently recuperating. He added that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government would not last long in the state.

Currently, BJP is in the largest Opposition party in Maharashtra. It may be recalled that former allies BJP and Shiv Sena had been in power in the state from 2014 to 2019.

However, they split in 2019 over the fight for the CM chair, following which Shiv Sena joined hands with NCP and Congress and Uddhav Thackeray became the CM.
