Mumbai: A level-3 fire broke out in a high-rise residential building in Tardeo area of Mumbai on Saturday morning, leaving at least seven persons dead and around 15 others injured.
The fire broke out on the 18th floor of the 20-storeyed Kamla building near Bhatia Hospital at around 7 am on Saturday.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals. Three of them are said to be critical and in ICU.
Prima facie, it seems the fire was caused by short circuit; however the actual reason will be known after investigation.
As per available reports, 13 fire engines were rushed to the spot to control the fire.
