New Delhi: The Modi government has come up with a big plan for those who have a private job. If the private employee lose their job then for the 2 years government will provide them financial assistance. In fact, the Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) provides financial assistance to those who loose their jobs under the “Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana”. This information was provided by ESIC throgh a tweet.
ESIC tweeted, “Losing employment does not mean loss of income. ESIC will pay the monthly cash for 2 years in case of sudden unemployment or loss of employment due to injury.”
How to apply for this scheme?
To take advantage of Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana you have to first visit the ESIC website and then download a form. After that you have to fill up the form and then submit it to any branch of ESIC. Along with the form you have to attach a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 20 with a notary affidavit. In which the form AB-1 to AB-4 will be submitted. An online feature has been launched for this. You can also visit the website www.esic.nic.in for more information. Treatment of ESIC Rules
ESIC has also simplified the rules for super specialty treatment. Previously the term was for 2 years but which has now reduced to 6 months. On the other hand, the condition of contribution has been reduced to 78 days.
Who will not get benefit from this scheme?
Any person who is insured with ESCI and who is discharged from the company for any reason or if any criminal case is filed against that person will not get benefit from this scheme. In addition,those who had taken voluntary retirement (VRS) will also not benefit from this scheme.
