A media agency reported a case in which a surgeon in Guwahati removed a mobile charger cord from the urinary bladder of a 30-year-old man. The agency quoted the doctor Walliul Islam as saying that the man mislead the doctor into operating his stomach after he said that he accidentally consumed a headphone cable.
The doctor in a facebook post said that the man had lied as he had found nothing in his gastrointestinal tract after surgery. But a subsequent X-ray detected the cable of a mobile charger in his urinary bladder.
The doctor said the man had inserted the mobile charging cord through his penis while mastrubating.
The cord was taken out and the patient is recovering. The doctor wrote that the cord had entered through his penile urethra to his urinary bladder. He said the patient was in the habit of inserting objects through his penis for mastrubation a term referred to as urethral masturbation.
The doctor said had the patient told the truth the unnecessary surgery of his stomach could have been avoided.
