Media reports said that The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) is behind the terrorist attack on Karachi Stock Exchange on Monday morning that killed seven people. Media reports said that the The BLA had claimed responsibility for the suicide attack on Twitter.
The reports said the Twitter handle of BLA identified the four attackers as Tasleem Baloch, Shehzad Baloch, Salman Hammal and Siraj Kungur and that they were part of the elite majeed brigade.
However, there has been no official confirmation from the BLA.
Earlier BLA had claimed responsibility for the killing of six Pakistan army soldiers including an officer in a landmine blast in southern Balochistan.
Several activists supporting the Baloch cause have disappeared over the years and the people have blamed the Pakistan Army for killing them in secret.
Earlier the BLA was blamed for the suicide attack in August 2018 targetting Chinese engineers in Balochistan, a November 2018 attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi, and a May 2019 attack against a luxury hotel in Gwadar, Balochistan.
