Mandaviya criticized for photo with Manmohan

Health minister Mansukh Mandaviya received lot of flak for getting himself clicked while visiting Manmohan Singh at the hospital.

Singh’s daughter Daman Singh was reported to have said that her mother had objected to the photographer’s presence, but she was ignored.

“My mother insisted that the photographer should leave the room, but she was completely ignored. My parents are elderly people, not animals in teh zoo. Their request for privacy should have been respected,” she was quoted as having said.

Congress leader Randeep Surjewala, too, lashed out at BJP and Mandaviya for making a PR event out of the visit to the ailing former PM.
