- Delhi DyCM has claimed the Saffron Party is considering replacing Jai Ram Thakur with Anurag Thakur
New Delhi: The BJP is so rattled by the increasing popularity of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Arvind Kejriwal that it is considering replacing incumbent chief minister of Himachal Pradesh Jai Ram Thakur with Union minister Anurag Thakur. That was the claim made by Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
At a press conference on Thursday, Manish Sisodia claimed that they had got information from “reliable sources” that BJP was scared of Kejriwal’s popularity and was considering removing Jai Ram Thakur as Himachal Pradesh CM and appoint Anurag Thakur for the next few months.
Sisodia claimed that Jai Ram Thakur’s government had failed. He said that Himachal citizens were looking at AAP now and claimed to be getting good response from them.
He expressed confidence in AAP’s victory in Himachal Pradesh as well.
Buoyed by its sweeping victory in Punjab last month, AAP has now set its eyes on Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat which will have Assembly elections later this year.
