Who knew a fit could be so important?
A man in Bhopal has filed a complaint against his tailor for stitching his underwear shorter than what was specified.
The complaint filed by one Krishna Kumar Dubey, 46, said he had given 2-metre of cloth to be stitched. Yet, the tailor stitched it short.“I gave him 2-metres of cloth to stitch my underwear yet he stitched shorter underwear. I asked him to re-stitch, but he refused,” Dubey said in his police complaint.
He further said that the tailor charged him Rs70 and that he was charged extra for the thread that held the underwear together at the waist. And to add insult to injury he stitched it short.
Media reports quoted Dubey as saying that he was struggling to make ends meet after losing his job as a security guard. He claimed he had to borrow Rs1000 from a friend to just buy essentials.
