Today Women Rights Activists visited lord Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala for worship.Bindu Ammini and some other activists on Tuesday landed at Kochi International Airport from there they were taken to the Police commissioner office in Kochi city. Where Bindu was attacked with chilli powder.
When Bindu came out of the car a man who was wearing saffron dhoti came to her with a can of chilli powder and spray it on her face and fled way from the spot. After that the Bindu was taken to the General Hospital in Ernakulam for the treatment. Later the accused was identified and arrested by the police.

According to the sources about seven of the women had reached at Kochi for seeking the entry into the temple of all the ages. Bindu who had earlier entered the temple under the police protection in January this year is also accompanying Trupti Desai who is the women Activist.
Desai said, “We had booked a taxi to Pampa but were stopped on the way and we are now at special branch office in Ernakulam, waiting for police protection for us to Sabarimala. Today is Constitution Day and government needs to protect our constitutional rights. It is our right to enter Sabarimala temple.”
Trupti said that no one can stop us to enter inside the temple not even the state government neither police. We will get the security or not but will go inside the temple today.
