Mumbai: Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackrey takes control as the Maharashtra Chief Minister at a ceremony at the sprawling Shivaji Park in Mumbai. The ceremony was attended by his cousin and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, DMK chief MK Stalin and party leader TR Baalu, Congress leader Ahmed Patel, NCP leader Praful Patel, and BJP leader and former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, among others. Along with Uddhav 2 ministers each from the Congress and NCP will take the oath. Shivaji Park is decorated to make the oath taking ceremony of Uddhav Thackeray as if Shivaji Maharaj took oath. Narendra Mosi and Congress president Sonai Gandhi were also invited to the ceremony.

Rahul Gandhi has also written a letter to Uddhav Thackeray. In which he expressed happiness that Maharashtra Vikas Agadi stands together against BJP.
