In Britain, terror from Khalistan supporters is continuously on rise. Earlier Khalistan supporters have targeted many temples. They also attacked High Commission of India. Meanwhile, according to the reports available, PM Narendra Modi spoke over a phone call to his British counterpart Rishi Sunak, and raised the issue of security issue of Indian diplomats.

During the conversation, PM Modi also raised the issue of security of Indian diplomatic establishments in the UK and called for strong action against anti-India elements by the UK Government. PM Modi also sought progress on the return of economic offenders who have taken shelter in the UK.
Mr Sunak conveyed that the UK considers the attack on Indian High Commission totally unacceptable and assured of security of the Indian Mission and its personnel,” said an official release.
Besides, PM Modi also invited Rishi Sunak to the G20 Summit in September. Sunak expressed Britain’s full support for India’s chairmanship of the G-20. Earlier, the two leaders met at the G-20 summit in Bali, Indonesia last November.
Meanwhile, News agency PTI quoted officials as saying that the two prime ministers also discussed several bilateral issues, including cooperation in trade and economic sectors. PM Modi also congratulated Sunak on the occasion of Baisakhi.
