Everyone sees the dream of becoming rich. If someone earns a lot of money through his hard work, then luck is appreciated. Porunnan Rajan, a resident of Kannur district in Kerala, was certain that one day lady luck would smile at him. A daily wage labourer in Kerala was upset and disappointed after a bank rejected his loan last month. This was going to be his fourth loan to cough up interest for his three other loans. P Rajan left the bank empty-handed but took a lottery on his way back home. Little did he know that he would win the first bumper prize of Rs 12 crore in the Christmas-New Year lottery.
Despite poverty, the laborer, who was fond of buying lottery tickets, did not even think in the dream that through this he would become a millionaire. However, a large part of this amount will go to tax. A 58-year-old Rajan living in Kannur district of Kerala performs life as a laborer. He is also fond of buying lottery tickets which made him rich overnight. After the result of lottery, Rajan could not believe his eyes. After checking the results several times, he assured himself that his ticket number is correct.
Rajan said that he checked the result several times before depositing the lottery ticket in the bank. Rajan said that he wants to do good to poor and needy people with lottery money. He also has some liabilities that he wants to remove. Rajan said that he will invest this amount in necessary work because he knows that it is not easy to earn money.
